Ken Honsberger, Managing Partner | North America

Ken joined Consulting Positions as Managing Partner for North America and is responsible for our business operations and development of the North American Market.

He started his career with Carpenter Technology, one of the world's leading specialty steel producers in Reading, PA where, over the course of 14 years with the company he advanced to the position of Commercial Manager for Oil Patch Alloys and Tool Steels, an $80M product portfolio.

Ken became the first Director of Marketing and Sponsorship for Drum Corps International. In this role he managed the special events, national tour and the initiation of corporate sponsorships for Drum Corps International. The drum and bugle corps activity has been a lifelong interest of Ken's and this provided him with the rare opportunity to work for his hobby.

Following this Ken became an entrepreneur and started a commercial bakery based outside Chicago that produced pre-baked and frozen products for the in-store bakery category and food services. The bakery specialized in helping grocery store changes manage their in store bakery operations by providing a wide range of products.

Ken entered the world of consulting 16 years ago. He has served as COO and Director of Operations of the EMEA business unit of a global operational improvement consulting firm. Ken has serviced clients in a wide variety of industries to include mining, Oil & Gas, telecommunications, pharma financial services and FMCG. He has worked in 27 countries and delivered financial benefits across various engagement services such as asset management, throughput and efficiency, lean back office, sales force effectiveness and revenue enhancement. Ken has also led firm wide Human Capital management, training and development of consulting teams and the Knowledge Management and Intellectual Property contributions of engagement teams.

At Maine Pointe Ken was responsible for the overall quality of client engagements providing the delivery performance that ensures strong financial benefits to clients.

He has taught at the university level in both undergraduate and graduate programs concentrating on courses in sales, marketing and overall marketing strategy.

Ken has an undergraduate degree in finance from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA and an MBA in Marketing from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA
