Medicinal Chemistry Research group (15 people)
Objective : reduction of function cycle times. Improvement of work environment and processes
Achievements: 130 k$ per year saved + cycle time reduced by 3 days.
Radio Chemistry Research group (30 people) and
Biology In Vitro-In Vivo Research groups (20 people):
Objectives : reduction of functions cycle times. Improvement of work environment and processes.
Status : VSM complete and Kaizens identified.
Research Feasibility phase (whole Research):
Objective : reduction of feasibility project cycle time within research.
Status : VSM in progress, collection of data on past Research projects in progress.
Trainings : Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt (2006) and Change Acceleration Process workshop (2007)
Promotion of Lean : Presentation of the project at the Oslo and Amersham R&D sites (50 people each). Preparation of posters for Lean day presentation.
Other L6S Activities : Participation to VSM sessions on Lean Leaders projects. 6 Sigma : identification of 6 Sigma projects and use of Minitab in research
2) RESEARCH SCIENTIST :
Design of medical diagnostic agents
(18F PET tracers in Neurology)
Chemistry activities coordination (2002-2007):
Design, assessment, planning of the synthesis of the chemicals entities in interaction with the biologists and the radio chemists teams. Allocation of the chemistry resources and activities (cross sites and external company), organisation of review and problem solving sessions. Presentation of results during meetings and reviews.
Control of quality and data of all chemicals involved in the project. Write-up of technical reports.
Initiation of a feasibility project (2006) in optical imaging:
Identification of a scientific and business need. Enrolment of appropriate resources. Conduction of meetings with experts to define project charter. Delivery of project proposal. Submission to the Research Leadership Team.
3) TEAM LEADER (2002-2005)
3 direct reports. Assessment of project needs and allocation of resources. Follow-up of the on-going work and deadlines - Review of performances - Salary reviews.
