Experience
• Negotiations (imports and exports) of commodities such as aluminum, tin, copper and zinc, including the definition of the best logistics, the correct tax classification and financing alternatives such as “off take” (anticipation of future sales receivables) and credit lines from regional and sectoral development banks;
• Development and management of logistic services contracts for Brazilian operation (> 150 containers / month), including qualification, negotiation, contracting and storage contract management (bonded and not bonded storage), transport, traders, brokers and insurers, allowing saving of over US$ 1 MM / year in demurrage and US$ 1,5 MM / year in warehousing and financial costs.
• Development of suppliers (in Brazil and abroad), negotiation and management of contracts (and claims) to elaborate feasibility study, basic and detailed project design, environmental impact studies (EIA/RIMA), and others, enabling to achieve the FEL3 stage of the project (final investment authorization by the shareholders);
• Coordination of multidisciplinary team to elaborate budget, the Supply Plan (as part of the Project Plan) and risk map in the project execution phase.
• Development, negotiation and management of commercial and contractual conditions for the supply of approximately US$ 700 MM in equipment for energy generation and distribution (boilers, turbines, substations, etc.), equipment for industrial process control and commissioning services, with an average savings of 13.5%.
Degree: SENIOR PURCHASE AND LOGISTICS CONSULTANT• Negotiations and management of raw materal supplies (caustic soda, hidrogen peroxide, sulfuric acid, baling wires, etc ...) for continuous pulp lines operation (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) totalling US$ 120 MM or 360.000 tons of raw material / year;
• Elaboration and execution of a strategy to identify and eliminate or mitigate the dependence of exclusive sources or cartels in certain sectors of the supply chain, generating savings of USD 8MM/year and significant reduction of the risk of shortages;
• Expansion of imports with tax benefits to the exporter (e.g. drawback), import of equipment without national similar with ex-tariff regime and import via regional development programs such as FUNDAP, generating savings estimated at US$ 1 MM / year.
